The Latin American restaurant debuts this weekend at the Venetian

The latest must-visit dining experience on the Strip arrives this weekend, with the Mother’s Day debut of Chica from Top Chef Masters’ chef Lorena Garcia and John Kunkel’s 50 Eggs Inc.

The 9,395-square-foot corner space on the resort’s Restaurant Row, sits a couple of steps from the casino floor and replaces the shuttered DB Brasserie restaurant, next door to Kunkel’s other Las Vegas expansion, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar

Chica will be open for lunch during starting May 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and switching over to “supper” from 4 to 11 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, Chica will switch into brunch mode from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On the menu, Latin American cuisine inspired by dishes from Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina developed by chef Gracia and a kitchen overseen by chef Mike Minor, formerly of Border Grill.
